We should never become those what we despise in others. In short, please check yourself if you feel inclined to say anything other than wishing everybody (the President included) the speediest of recoveries. It’s OK to discuss politics and government. We’re in the middle of the most consequential election campaign in living memory for goodness sake. It’s OK to question the recklessness of government policy on the management (or lack thereof) of COVID. It’s OK to question why the President, knowing that he tested positive 72 hours ago per the Doc that just gave the briefing, then went out and attended a couple of events (including an indoor one with donors). That’s grossly irresponsible and just another reason (and one of many) why I hope he’s defeated next month. But I genuinely wish him and Melania the best of health. Nobody wins if we celebrate health misfortunes of others. #COVID19
